Join us on February 16 as we honor Elizabeth Peratrovich through a full day of learning, creativity, and reflection.
The day begins at 3:00 PM with activism pin making near Kaladi Brother’s Café hosted by the Indigenous and Rural Student Center (IRSC), followed by a Celebration and Tlingit Clan Activity hosted by the UAA Alaska Native Studies Program from 4:00-5:00 PM in SSB 118, including refreshments and an interactive clan exercise.
At 5:15 PM, the day concludes with a film screening of For the Rights of All: Ending Jim Crow in Alaska in SSB 118, hosted by the Cama-i room, featuring a special Zoom guest appearance by Diane Benson, who starred in the film.
