AS4P serves as a gathering space for all UAA students—regardless of faith, background, or belief—who are committed to educating others about the humanity, resilience, and joy of the Palestinian people—despite the ongoing genocide and illegal colonial occupation of the land they have inhabited since time immemorial.
Given the striking parallels between the genocide and colonization of Palestine—and of its Indigenous people—and the genocide and colonization of Alaska—and of its Indigenous peoples—AS4P asserts that these struggles are deeply interconnected. This shared history demands Indigenous solidarity to secure the reparations necessary for lasting peace and justice.
AS4P believes it is essential to counter disinformation that dehumanizes Palestinians and undermines their struggle for sovereignty and human rights. Therefore, as an educational advocacy club, we are dedicated to disseminating accurate information to advance peace and justice in Palestine.
