Given the striking parallels between the genocide and colonization of Palestine—and of its Indigenous people—and the genocide and colonization of Alaska—and of its Indigenous peoples—AS4P asserts that these struggles are deeply interconnected. This shared history demands Indigenous solidarity to secure the reparations necessary for lasting peace and justice.
AS4P believes it is essential to counter disinformation that dehumanizes Palestinians and undermines their struggle for sovereignty and human rights. Therefore, as an educational advocacy club, we are dedicated to disseminating accurate information to advance peace and justice in Palestine.

The UAA Concert Board is a student fee funded program designed to offer students an educational volunteer opportunity in the entertainment industry.

In 1991, students proposed a $5 fee (the fee was increased to $10 during Spring 2009) designated to bring big name entertainment to UAA. The initiative was passed with a student referendum in 1992 and the Concert Board began having official meetings in 1993. That same year the Board presented comedian George Wallace as its first official event. Since that show, the UAA Concert Board has been working hard to bring outstanding performers to UAA and the Anchorage community. By bringing great entertainment to UAA, the Concert Board puts your student fees to work!

College is an opportunity in most students’ lives to learn who they are and what they value most. In these years many students experience new things in search of their identity and purpose in life. Cru is a caring group of students who want to listen and learn from one another about what each journey has looked like, and what is being discovered along the way.

Cru believes the most important part of this journey is discovering and growing in a relationship with God. We believe we are broken, sinful individuals separated from a holy loving God, but that God sent Jesus as the only way to restore our relationship with Him. We seek to be a community that supports and nurtures others as they explore and pursue their faith. There are inevitable points of confusion where people may question what they thought was true both of the world around them and of themselves individually. The mission of the NMDP Club at the University of Alaska Anchorage is to educate, advocate, and inspire action in support of patients in need of blood stem cell and marrow transplants. Our organization is dedicated to increasing awareness about blood cancers and other life-threatening diseases, expanding the national donor registry, and promoting health equity within Alaska’s diverse communities.

We strive to create an informed and compassionate campus by providing accurate information about stem cell donation, addressing common misconceptions, and encouraging eligible students to join the NMDP registry. Through educational events, donor recruitment drives, and community partnerships, we aim to empower students to become active participants in life-saving efforts.

The mission of the Baja Club is to apply engineering and machining techniques learned in the classroom to create a fully operational off-road vehicle that will be brought to the national intercollegiate SAE BAJA competition. Our mission is to bring back theatre to UAA, and kickstart the renaissance of theatre at our University. We want our club to be more than recreational, it will be a place for students to learn and grow as actors on campus.

The Union of Students of the University of Alaska Anchorage (USUAA) is recognized by the University of Alaska Board of Regents as the governing body for students enrolled at the University of Alaska Anchorage. As stated in the Constitution, the goals of USUAA are to:

-Broaden the educational perspective of the students by instituting a structure of self‐governance.
-Promote the educational needs, general welfare, and rights of the students.
-Serve as a forum for students to express their ideas for enhancing the quality of their educational experience through expanded and improved communications among students, faculty, administration, and beyond.
-Formulate policy and procedures concerning student life.
-Serve all students equally, in accordance with Board of Regents Policy, federal and state law, prohibiting discrimination against individuals, including but not limited, on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, physical or mental disability, change in marital status, pregnancy, or parenthood.

The USUAA Assembly is comprised of a president, vice president, 10 senators, 12 delegates, and 3 liaisons.

Students interested in joining USUAA must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours, have paid the Anchorage consolidated fee, and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Students with no established GPA or a GPA that is between 2.5 and 2.0 can join USUAA under a probationary status. After one semester of membership, the student must meet the required 2.5 GPA or be dismissed from the assembly. If a student falls under a 2.0 GPA, he/she will not be eligible for probation and will be dismissed from the assembly.
