Noon Music is a program organized by the UAA Concert Board. It is meant to highlight local musical acts, and to bring a variety of culture & vibrancy to the Student Union. It also provides Concert Board members with an opportunity to practice event production and emceeing.

About Katie Scoggin:

Katie Scoggin is a singer-songwriter who began learning how to play the guitar at eight years old. Her music style is mostly indie-folk, with a mix of some country and pop. For many of her teen years, she performed throughout the Anchorage area, primarily at Middle Way Cafe, the South Anchorage Farmers Market, and the Anchorage Folk Festival where she hosted a Beginner's Guitar Workshop. Katie released an album called Eleven when she was 16 years old. Now, she continues to write songs in her free time and teaches private after-school guitar lessons to young children.

About TuckerTunes:

Tim & Natalie Tucker ( TuckerTunes ) are a local husband and wife singer/songwriter duet specializing in twisted covers, clever originals, and delicious harmonies. They are both longtime Alaskans with extensive backgrounds in music and theater, and have been composing, recording, and performing together for over ten years.

Noon Music is free and will be held weekly Spring 2024.
